The Black Mountain Lodge comprises of three buildings, the Lodge, the Barn & the Annex, with a stone courtyard connecting all three buildings.
The Lodge is the main building consisting of 6 en-suite 4 star graded bedrooms. Once an old stable during the 1800’s, this building possesses many original features with its stone walls, oak beams and loophole windows providing unique & charming characteristics to our tastefully decorated rooms.
The Barn has been recently renovated, now providing 4 spacious Superior En-suite bedrooms which also 4 star graded. All rooms are designed to a modern standard while still holding a glimpse of the former 19th century building with old oak beams and original large barn windows overlooking the grounds.
The Annex (un-graded) is the oldest of all three buildings, dating back to the 1700’s. It has three Economy rooms that are simple and fresh, two of which have a shared bathroom and the other with an en-suite; all three rooms share a cosy TV Lounge. The economy rooms are ungraded but they certainly do not lack in character and charm with aged wooden beams and stonewalls throughout and traditional wood fireplaces in the TV lounge
