The Black Mountain Lodge is a delightful family-run 4 Star Bed & Breakfast situated at the foothills of the Black Mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park. This lovely old traditional stone building, the oldest part dating back to the 17th Century, is set in its own beautiful grounds with ample free parking and surrounded with breathtaking countryside.
Set away from the 'hustle and bustle', the Black Mountain Lodge prides itself in offering a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable rooms and a delicious hearty breakfast; lending itself perfectly for those wanting to just get away from it all!
With plenty to do in the area, The Black Mountain Lodge is perfect for those wishing to visit the area to take part in outdoor activities or for those wanting to visit the famous town of books Hay on Wye; with its antiques & book shops and it's literary festival which is held each May. Or, visit the quaint market town of Brecon to join in with its Jazz festival in August or walk the Brecon Beacons, then there is the Royal Welsh Show in July, in Builth Wells.
You are welcome to join us for as long or as short as you like, we cater for individuals, couples, parties, families and corporate groups, offering everything from economy accommodation through to our deluxe rooms. And no matter the purpose of your visit, you can end your day at this little retreat where you can sit back and unwind and as you do, take a look outside, you just might see the stars!
